Colts & Stamps Division
We are decreasing the number of players on the field in the Colts and Stampeders Division from 7 on 7 to 5 on 5. We are listening to the feedback from coaches in the league and agree that 5 players on the field is way easy to manage. Having 5 players on the field will keep the participants more engaged as well it allows coaches to get the ball in more players hands. Please aim to have at most 10 players on your Colts and Stampeders team rosters.
Advanced Divisions in the Huskies Hilltops & Stampeders age groups
We are making an effort to create balance and more even match ups by offering an option to sign up in an advanced division within the Huskie, Hilltop, and Stampeders age groups. The purpose is to match teams that have similar ability and football experience levels to make it as fun as possible. We want to see teams with more experience play teams that are of similar in skill and experience, the same for new teams and participants starting out in the league. We want to create a positive experience for all member of our league and this will allow us to schedule more competitive match ups. For teams that have been together for multiple season and have a good understanding of the game accompanied with a high level of skill please sign up the Advance Division.
